Concerts at Oak Branch are free to the public. If you would like to make a donation to support our performers or HAAM (Health Alliance for Austin Musicians), any donation is sincerely appreciated and can be made at the performance or visiting the HAAM website.

We are having to reschedule the piano recital by David Nichols. So our friend Pamela Stout and Rick Rowley will play an impromptu concert to take its place. Rick will play the French Suite No. 2 in c minor by J. S. Bach. Pamela will play the Concert Etude in D-flat ("Un sospiro") of Franz Liszt, "The Maiden and the Nightingale" from Granados' Goyescas and together they will play the Piano Concerto No. 1 in g minor by Felix Mendelssohn.

David Nichols will perform an incredibly inventive piano recital including compositions of his own, as well as Liszt, Boulez, Ginastera and Feldman.

Lakeway Masterpiece Concert Series

Andrew and Sari Pearce's Lakeway Masterpiece Concert Series will give a performance of their May concert in the barn at Oak Branch. The concert will include Brahms' Piano Quartet No 3 in c minor, the Samuel Barber Sonata for Cello and Piano and Edward Elgar's "Salut d'amour" for violin and piano.

Sophia Gilmson, harpsichord and piano

Sophia Gilmson presents a unique All-Rameau program. Sophia plays each original work on harpsichord followed by playing Godowsky’s transcription of the same works on the piano. The performance will be about an hour long without intermission and will include some introductory words for each selection.
